Shawnee County students participating in a travel program can apply for a $500 scholarship. The deadline for applications was February 15, 2026.

Interested? You’ll need:

  • Proof of current GPA;
  • Certification of FAFSA submission (for college students) or certification of eligibility for a free or reduced lunch program (for high school students);
  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor;
  • Statement of educational benefit; and
  • Statement of financial need
